Looks like Jeff Bezos has had it with the numerous, and dubious, “Four Pinocchios” that Biden has received from his very own Washington Post.
In a nutshell, the “Pinocchios” system is one in which varying degrees of disinformation are evaluated on a scale from one to four, with four being the worst.
Biden has achieved the “honor” of “Four Pinocchios” on more than one occasion, which is quite ironic given the White House’s apparent insistence on a “Disinformation” board ironically headed up by a Russia-allied Nina Jankowicz, who comes straight off the Marxist indoctrination assembly line.
Which is perhaps why Bezos shockingly, and very publicly, began calling out Biden himself for disinformation.
Given that Bezos has long been a militant anti-Trump fanatic and an ultra-progressive, BLM-backing billionaire, it is quite surprising that he’s suddenly gone scorched earth on the Biden administration.
That said, it’s certainly quite refreshing, especially since Bezos’s rather biting commentary played out across Twitter.
The entire saga began when one of Biden’s Easter Bunny handlers issued a rather economically illiterate tweet, effectively blaming every bogeyman but Biden himself for inflation.
“You want to bring down inflation?” Biden’s handler brayed, “Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.”
Ah. Clearly Biden has no concept of “dead weight losses” (i.e., taxes), despite being surrounding by Ivy League PhDs.
Though to be fair, the Ivies lost their way quite some time ago.
Even more clearly, Biden is apparently unaware of the fact that corporations never pay higher taxes; they merely pass on higher prices to consumers as a result of the dead weight loss that ensues from more senseless government intrusion.
Which, of course, elevates, rather than decreases, inflation for consumers.
Needless to say, Bezos promptly put Biden in his place, humorously suggesting that the Disinformation Board have a look at its very own originator.
“The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead,” Bezos drawled, “Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.”
No kidding. Then again, the Biden administration can’t even master effective deflecting.
While it’s shocking that Bezos openly blasted Biden on Twitter, within mere hours of the president’s handler’s tweet, it’s even more surprising, and frankly hilarious, that he called out the bungling Biden administration yet again for its constant lies and deception.
Such as Biden’s outrageous claim that he apparently solved deficit issues.
“Under my predecessor, the deficit increased every single year,” Biden’s handler boomed, “This year, we’re on track to cut the deficit by $1.5 trillion – the biggest one-year decline ever. It matters to families, because reducing the deficit is one of the main ways we can ease inflationary pressures.”
Needless to say, the pro-capitalist Neoliberal Project promptly shredded Biden’s obtuse commentary, dryly remarking, “This is so silly. The deficit is decreasing because we’re not doing pandemic aid anymore, and federal receipts are up because of inflation. Congress, or the Biden administration, didn’t do anything to lower the deficit.”
Seriously. Even CNN called out Biden for that one, in the rather humorously titled “Fact check: Deconstructing Biden’s claim that ‘I reduced the federal deficit.’”
And, for that matter, so did Bezos.
“In fact, the administration tried hard to inject even more stimulus into an already over-heated, inflationary economy and only Manchin saved them from themselves,” Bezos retorted, “Inflation is a regressive tax that most hurts the least affluent. Misdirection doesn’t help the country.”
Gotta love how Bezos goes to bat for Manchin, after preening Psaki all but openly threw him under the bus from her pretentious podium, indifferent to the havoc and potentially even danger that she may have brought into his life.
After all, she’s clearly indifferent to the fact that Supreme Court Justices are facing gargantuan threats courtesy of a despicable leak.
As if Americans are going to all magically vote Democrat in the midterms while gas prices careen towards $8/gallon due to a deliberately, and despicably politized, leak.
If anything, such pitiful behavior will push even more to the right … which is only right.
