Biden Aims To Annihilate Filibuster

Apparently, since Biden can’t pass his massive Build Back Better (BBB) agenda, he has now turned his attention on an even more deadly path for the nation: brazen efforts to nationalize elections.

In other words, the Biden administration plans to reduce states’ power even further, and what better way to do so than rob states of the right to fair representation?

However, in its typically duplicitous fashion, the Biden administration has apparently decided to inform Americans that the voting rights legislation is vital for the nation, judging from Biden’s remarks.

“The next few days, when these bills come to a vote, will mark a turning point in this nation,” Biden remarked ominously, “Will we choose democracy over autocracy, light over shadow, justice over injustice?”

“Light over shadow,” huh? Remind us all once again, Mr. Biden, which president is the one that refuses to do press conferences, and for that matter, refuses to answer questions that haven’t been “pre-approved?”

Because it sure wasn’t Trump, but it is definitely Biden …

Since Biden has no issue leaving Americans in the dark about just about everything, including why the shelves are increasingly bare, his next claims are even more troubling, especially since they demonstrate a breathtaking lack of self-awareness.

“I know where I stand. I will not yield. I will not flinch,” Biden bloviated, “I will defend your right to vote and our democracy against all enemies foreign and domestic … And so the question is where will the institution of United States Senate stand?”

Well, with any luck, it will remain largely standing from all the good Trump did, including the lowest level of unemployment for minorities in decades, the very minorities the Biden administration claims that Republicans are attempting to suppress.

Right. Because empowering minorities is so “oppressive.” More like Democrats would be oppressed by all voters once all voters wake up to the reality of the Democrats.

And, predictably, ever divisive Biden, who basically claimed he wouldn’t “yield” on unity before, proceeded to use January 6 as an excuse for potentially eliminating the filibuster.

“It’s time for Republicans who support the rule of law to stand up for democracy,” Biden blustered.

Interestingly, leftist zealot Stacey Abrams decided to skip out on Biden’s speech for real reasons unknown, prompting a reporter to inquire of Biden exactly what may be occurring with the aspiring gubernatorial candidate.

That’s right: Ms. Abrams is apparently running (again) for Governor of Georgia in 2022.

Yikes.

And her increasingly high profile prompted a reporter to inquire, “any thoughts on Stacey Abrams skipping your speech today, sir? Are you insulted she’s skipping your speech?”

Biden basically laughed off the reporter’s questions, claiming that a so-called scheduling conflict had arisen.

“I’m insulted you asked the question,” Biden retorted, “I spoke to Stacey this morning. We have a great relationship. We got our scheduling mixed up. I talked to her at length this morning. We’re all on the same page, and everything’s fine.”

“Scheduling mixed up.” Seems like a whole lot gets “mixed up” under Biden which even “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough, on MSNBC no less, observed the glaring discrepancies in Biden’s statements.

“This is an event custom-made for Stacy Abrams, she obviously doesn’t want to be on the same stage as Joe Biden,” Scarborough theorized.

In other words, in the spirit of AOC and other self-serving “activists,” Abrams is just another money-grubbing opportunist.

Which leaves Biden to battle with a bunch of woke college students, such as Arizona State University political science major, Leila Winbury, who is threatening a massive hunger strike over voting rights legislation.

“We’re prepared to hold out indefinitely now that the holidays are over,” Winbury raged, “I have seen the consequences of a broken democracy my entire life, so we’re willing to suffer the consequences of hunger striking rather than the consequences of the bill not passing.”

Really? The “broken democracy” that let Winbury and her friends protest outside the White House for weeks on end, clearly not working, and supposedly “hunger striking” then?

Of course, Ms. Winbury, who is undoubtedly laden with student debt that she expects paid for, was sure to highlight all the struggles she endured engaging in a “hunger strike” outside the White House.

However, unlike individuals indefinitely jailed for no reason, Winbury had a medical professional beside her at all times (but remember, she’s so oppressed).

“The health toll was hard, a lot of us had low blood pressure, but we did have a doctor on site. He took our vitals twice a day,” Winbury recalls, “in Arizona I was able to go back to my dorm. In D.C., we stayed in sleeping bags out front of the Capitol, and then once it would get dark, we would go stay in a hotel.”

Oh wow, how terrible! College students that can mysteriously afford a hotel in D.C. for multiple nights in a row?

The entitlement that these whiny college students have is truly breathtaking.

Which is beyond evident in Winbury’s continued rant, which only reveals how ignorant she is of American history and American politics.

“Do your jobs, listen to your constituents. We should not have to put our bodies on the line for you to listen to us.”

Guess what, Winbury? The world doesn’t revolve around you … especially when you contribute nothing positive to it.
