Biden Cowers As DeSantis Solves America’s #1 Problem

Currently, the communist state of California is experiencing a port crisis of epic proportions, no thanks to the useless Newsom and feckless Biden administration.

Upwards of 100+ ships remain moored at sea, with local news channels in the state referring to the backlog as “the worst it’s ever been.”

Fortunately, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has offered a solution to the crisis, which stands in stark contrast to the roundtable of excuses offered by the Biden administration.

For instance, Princess Psaki, one of the ultimate examples of brainless, leftist elitism, has the nerve to blow off the crisis as merely indicative of a healthy economy.

“As the economy is turned back on, more people had expendable income, wages, to buy more goods … More people are buying more goods. People have started to also buy more things online than going into stores and so, that is also impacting the volume and there’s a need for more.” [Source: OANN]

Wow, Psaki. Thanks for the (unrequested) lesson in Economics 101.

Care to offer an actual solution to the crisis?

By the way, someone should inform the economically illiterate Psaki that skyrocketing inflation tends to decrease demand, not increase demand.

Psaki further minimized the supply chain crisis through her trademark snarky commentary, sneering that American consumers could survive “the tragedy of a treadmill that’s delayed” due to the Biden-created crisis at the ports.

However, what Psaki conveniently does not mention is the fact that the clogged ports are significantly impacting the prices of consumer goods, particularly necessities.

For instance, prices for beef have skyrocketed by well over 10 percent, prices for baby food have increased by nearly 5 percent, and so forth.

And when prices go up (gasp!), demand goes down.

However, that basic economic concept seems to have escaped Biden’s so-called Transportation Secretary Buttigieg, who appears to spend more time preening for People magazine with his husband than doing anything on the job.

When Buttigieg finally bothered to take a break from his two-month paternity leave to address the crisis, he had such little substance to offer that he would have been better off remaining silent.

Just consider his rather melodramatic, yet ultimately insipid, commentary below.

“And if you think about those images of ships, for example, waiting at anchor on the West Coast, you know, every one of those ships is full of record amounts of goods that Americans are buying, because demand is up, because income is up, because the president has successfully guided this economy out of the teeth of a terrifying recession.” [Source: The Daily Wire]

What an utterly useless statement.

First off, Biden has “successfully guided this economy out of the teeth of a terrifying recession?”

Who does Buttigieg think he’s talking to, a round table full of ultra-liberal English “professors?” Save the theatrics for your husband, please.

Secondly, someone should also inform the rather hapless Buttigieg that when prices of consumer goods, especially grocery items, are escalating across the board with no sign of slowing down, a “terrifying recession” may well abruptly transform into an untenable economic depression.

Then again, what other attitude (not to mention intellect) is to be expected from a largely brainless “public servant” who is the ultimate embodiment of affirmative action politics?

Houston Keene, a reporter with Fox News, was rather bemused by Buttigieg’s economic illiteracy.

“So let me get this straight: the economy is doing so well that the supply chain is crumbling? That’s not how supply chains work — that’s how recessions work.” [Source: The Daily Wire]

Looks like Mr. Buttigieg is following in the esteemed footsteps of AOC, who is also completely ignorant of basic economics (in spite of holding a degree in Economics from a so-called “elite” university).

Fortunately, Florida has a governor who not only has a brain, but also a clue, and that clue pertains directly to what the American people want and need:

A solution.

While Buttigieg can flitters about mainstream media in his shameless elitism, DeSantis has proposed a tenable solution to the ports crisis, further underscoring the utter incompetence of the Biden administration, which appears to do nothing but make excuses.

“Year after year we continue to invest in our seaports, in infrastructure and in workforce education to make sure our supply chain is resilient … I’m especially proud of Florida’s seaports. They are crown jewels in our state. While other U.S. ports are just now announcing around-the-clock operations, in Florida many of our ports are used to serving Florida farmers, families and businesses with 24 hour operations.” [Source: The Daily Wire]

THIS.

One can only imagine how much better off the nation would be if Florida, rather than California, begins handling far more volume far more effectively, especially since DeSantis will not be enforcing Biden’s ludicrous, unconstitutional executive orders regarding vaccine mandates.

Moreover, Florida taking over the ports would represent another major blow to California’s economy, which the state more than deserves after the ultra-leftist nonsense (not to mention ultra-high levels of illegal immigration) it has inflicted upon the rest of the nation.

While it remains to be seen whether or not DeSantis’s proposal ultimately wins, one thing is for certain:

Nothing will get done as long as bungling Buttigieg is in charge.
