Biden Disapproval Soars To New Heights

Recently, disapproval ratings for President Joe Biden increased to an astonishing 56 percent, which marks the highest level of his presidency, according to data from a CNBC/Change Research poll.

The president’s disapproval rating was 54 percent in early September, an approximate 5 percent increase from its 49 percent level in April. The increase in disapproval demonstrates that many voters are displeased with the president’s handling of the pandemic and the economy, especially dramatically increasing inflation.

Biden’s approval rating has also declined dramatically, decreasing from 51 percent in April to its present level of 44 percent.

According to CNBC, the economy constitutes the top concern of a broad spectrum of voters, including Latino and white men and women in every age group, including individuals with and without a college degree.

However, black participants identified racism as their top concern, citing economic concerns as secondary to racial concerns.

The poll, which surveyed a total of 1,895 respondents, found that 60 percent of respondent disapproved of the Biden administration’s collective handling of the economy, which marks a 6 percent decrease from September.

Analyzing micro-elements of the economy results in even worse results for the Biden administration. For instance, 72 percent of respondents disapprove of how the Biden administration has managed costs for everyday goods, and 66 percent disapprove of the Biden administration’s efforts to help improve the financial well-being of voters.

A stunning 84 percent of respondents reported seeing higher prices for daily goods relative to their prices from a year ago, yet only 19 percent of respondents indicate receiving a higher income over the same period. Moreover, only 23 percent of respondents believe that inflation will begin to decline at some point in the near-future.

Aside from economic concerns, the poll also determined that 55 percent of respondents indicated disapproval for how the Biden administration has handled the pandemic.

The CNBC/Change Research survey found that 55% of respondents said they disapproved of the president’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
