Merrick Garland has not exactly proven to be the Attorney General (AG) of Americans’ dreams, particularly with his rather open defense of late term abortions and concurrence with the Biden administration on a number of other leftist agenda topics in general.
That said, the probe into Hunter Biden’s taxes has apparently continued, in spite of the “Big Guy” now formally occupying the White House. Thus far, Garland has yet to intervene, as he presumably “promised” that he wouldn’t; hopefully, this promise might be one that Biden deigns to follow.
And one can only hope that Biden stays out of it, given that Hunter Biden very well may be either the “target” or a “subject” of a grand jury investigation, particularly in terms of Hunter receiving questionable payments from an array of foreign nations, including China.
Speaking of China, Hunter apparently just cannot divest his stake, which Psaki typically bungled a few weeks ago in another deceptive press conference. Just consider another one of her non-answers below, once she was questioned directly on Hunter’s stake.
“He has been working to unwind his investment, but I would certainly point you — as a private citizen — would point you to him or his lawyers on the outside on any update.” [Source: Breitbart]
Hm. That’s interesting. Now all of the sudden since he’s a “private citizen,” Hunter is apparently exempt from any scrutiny? How exactly can Psaki spin an impeachment on Trump, who was also a private citizen when it took place? Waiting for an answer … and receiving crickets in response.
In fact, Psaki, perhaps check out the response of Biden himself, who claimed that his entire family would not at all “cash in” on his presidency (despite them already doing so with his vice-presidency).
“No one in my family will have an office in the White House, will sit in on meetings as if they are a cabinet member, will, in fact, have any business relationship with anyone that relates to a foreign corporation or a foreign country.” [Source: Breitbart]
Is that so, Biden? Care to elaborate more on how Hunter (and, for that matter, your brother), have become rather wealthy?
Psaki might want to get on the same page as Biden every now and then.
So, while Biden may be “very proud” of Hunter, no matter which types of shenanigans in which he chooses to engage, tax authorities are less impressed by Hunter’s records, in particular those related to suspicious international transfers of funds.
Now Hunter is in the news (again) after revelations have recently risen regarding more of Hunter’s past antics overseas, including smuggling an ex-stripper into a Swedish-state owned building in D.C. As hilarious as that may sound, it is actually the truth, a truth that made the media in Sweden, yet unsurprisingly was not referenced at all by the fake news media here.
An email sent directly to Hunter Biden called out his behavior, reminding him (apparently “again”) that the building is under 24/7 surveillance.
“It has again come to my attention that it appears that visitors have gained access to number 507 through the northern entrance after office hours – as we have 24/7 video surveillance throughout the building. Help us keep the building safe by following House of Sweden’s rules.” [Source: Breitbart]
Hunter’s response? Especially in light of the fact that he apparently broke the rules “again?” One would think he would be at least politically savvy enough to apologize.
Clearly that is giving Hunter far too much credit when reviewing his response. Forget any sort of apology, Hunter’s response was more of an immediate defense.
“If NN has a problem with my guests’ race or attire, I think we should all sit down and talk about it with a lawyer present.” [Source: Breitbart]
Wow. Turning an illegal entry into accusations of racism? No wonder BLM is proliferating under the current administration …
Eh, Hunter? It appears that the NN had a problem with afterhours “guests” whose intent is unknown to anyone but Hunter (which means the intent probably is fairly obvious, given Biden’s brooding array of grandchildren).
Fortunately, the probe into Hunter’s highly suspect financial records is ongoing, and one can only hope that the investigation remains as neutral as possible … which, admittedly, is asking for a whole lot these days.
