Biden’s “America Last” policies have unfortunately expanded.
Even more unfortunately, they’ve expanded to such an extent that America has been deliberately weakened on the global stage. Almost as if some foreign power (or two, or three, or four, or more …) has a major hold over him.
Hunter Biden’s latest laptop escapades surely provide significant evidence of that one.
Too bad Hunter’s personal drama (and enormous accrual of wealth … for himself) has apparently become the entire nation’s drama, not to mention the downfall of the most basic tenets of national security.
One of the first actions that Biden took in office was to kill the Keystone XL Pipeline, which was a further extension of Trump’s quest for energy independence (another promise kept, on Trump’s end).
Which senselessly killed thousands upon thousands of jobs in the United States
Unsurprisingly, prices for gasoline immediately escalated, and it appears that Biden has finally gotten the clue that skyrocketing inflation and soaring gasoline prices maybe aren’t the best economic conditions going into the 2022 midterms.
But does Biden do something remotely logical, such as reversing his decision on the Keystone XL Pipeline?
Of course not!
That would empower America far too much for Biden’s liking, after all.
So, Biden apparently has decided that begging OPEC to produce more oil is a better choice than harvesting national resources, or at minimum, resources from a real ally, such as Canada.
And he issued this command through his White House “National Security Advisor,” Jake Sullivan, which is just downright hilarious.
“Higher gasoline costs, if left unchecked, risk harming the ongoing global recovery. The price of crude oil has been higher than it was at the end of 2019, before the onset of the pandemic. While OPEC+ recently agreed to production increases, these increases will not fully offset previous production cuts that OPEC+ imposed during the pandemic until well into 2022. At a critical moment in the global recovery, this is simply not enough.” [Source: Townhall]
So, the Biden administration would rather resort to potentially empowering terrorists rather than empowering American workers, in other words. On top of that, breeding excessive dependence on the entire region.
Who knew an American National Security Advisor would be basically begging OPEC for American dependence on Middle Eastern oil, particularly a grand total of two decades after the horrors of 9/11/01?
Someone should check out Hunter’s potential dealings in the Middle East, and perhaps the very Russians that partied with Hunter in Vegas may well be leaking out other inconvenient footage in the future.
Needless to say, his apparently boundless protection of Hunter’s criminal activities was not met with much enthusiasm from Keystone XL Pipeline workers, including Bugsy Allen.
“All we’re doing is sitting here on hope. We’re not being able to get out there and prosper our families one bit. Biden says he’s a big union man, well I’ve been a member of the 798 Pipeliners Union out in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for 21 years. He cut us down to nothing. We can’t go on our pensions, on our insurance, this man doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing to the American people.” [Source: Townhall]
Biden clearly doesn’t have a clue about his own son either … or does he?
In any case, Allen’s revelation is a very sad testament regarding the Democrats’ real views of real people.
Moreover, Abbott has had it with Biden’s preening over green energy when killing Texan jobs, yet apparently massive fossil fuel production in the Middle East and Russia is not only acceptable, but encouraged by Democrat “standards.”
Which is exactly why he issued an open call to the White House to do what’s right.
“Dear White House: Texas can do this. Our producers can easily produce that oil if your Administration will just stay out of the way. Allow American workers—not OPEC—produce the oil that can reduce the price of gasoline. Don’t make us dependent on foreign sources of energy.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
By some miracle, maybe Biden will listen to Abbott.
If only in an attempt to escalate the chances of Democrats not losing everything in 2022, which they would richly deserve …
