Once Twitter and Facebook immediately begin censoring an article from the New York Post, without any fact-checking whatsoever, you know the article is good. And truthful. And social media giants’ censorship just kicked in, big-time, after revealing explosive e-mails regarding Biden’s (deep) involvement in Ukraine, alongside his supremely self-involved son, Hunter.
During a large event in Iowa on Wednesday evening, Trump announced that the e-mails had surfaced to the highly prominent publication The New York Post, widely circulated and widely read. And what a revelation this newspaper had this time.
“We’ve just learned through explosive documents published by a very fine newspaper, the New York Post, that Joe Biden has been blatantly lying about his involvement in his son’s corrupt business dealings. And this is a big smoking gun,” Trump said during a speech at Des Moines International Airport. [Source: Fox News]
These e-mails, obtained by Fox News, include a 2015 email from a Ukrainian gas company advisor, Vadym Pozharskyi, expressing thanks to Hunted Biden for setting up a meeting with his father, then vice-president to King of Malarkey himself, Obama. In addition, another 2014 email from the same advisor requested assistance from Hunter Biden in how he “could use” his “influence” for “politically motivated actions.”
These e-mails, in particular the 2015 e-mail that directly thanks Hunter Biden for direct access to his father, illustrate just the type of “chicanery” (to use Biden’s word) may be in store with a Biden presidency.
However, Twitter and other social media platforms apparently didn’t take too kindly to the dissemination of the truth, and, instead of conducting the “fact checking” these platforms seem to be so obsessed with, they just began instantly banning the spread of the New York Post article.
Twitter’s response to the New York Post, as opposed to the New York Times? Well, the classic snowflake response: Shut down anything that they don’t agree with.
As noted by Noah Manskar, a business reporter for the New York Post, Twitter decided to lock the entire New York Post platform, quite a ballsy move for such a purveyor of supposedly open communications.
“The Post’s primary Twitter account (@nypost) has also been locked because the Hunter Biden stories violate its rules against ‘distribution of hacked material,’ per email we received from Twitter.” [Source: Fox News]
Oh, and on top of that, Twitter also locked the personal account of the White House Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, who tweeted:
“**NEW** Email from Ukrainian executive to Hunter Biden asks Hunter to ‘use his influence’ on behalf of the firm paying him $50K/mo in email with subject ‘urgent issue’ obtained by @nypost Father @JoeBiden was in charge of Ukraine relations at time.!!” [Source: Fox News]
Twitter’s lame excuse?
“We have determined that this account violated the Twitter Rules. Specifically, for: Violating our rules against distribution of hacked material.” [Source: Fox News]
“Hacked” material, huh? Exactly which material was “hacked,” and how exactly did Twitter have the time to conduct such an extraordinarily thorough investigating that would validate whether or not the e-mails had been “hacked?”
Fortunately, Twitter was unable to lock McEnany out of her official Press Secretary (i.e., US Government Account), where she promptly fired back at both Twitter and Facebook.
“Censorship should be condemned! cc: @Twitter & Facebook NOT the American way!!” [Source: Fox News]
Hilariously, the Biden campaign does not seem to be challenging this report at all; instead, they are merely raging about the dissemination of the truth. In fact, Biden was clearly caught so off-guard by the latest revelation that he abruptly cancelled all events from 9:41 a.m. onwards on the same day Trump made his announcement about Hutner Biden’s poorly conceived emails.
Since Twitter seems to be so concerned with the release of “hacked” material, perhaps they could look into the source of Trump’s illegally leaked tax returns to The New York Times, but it doesn’t seem like that was given nearly as much consideration.
Not to mention the “hacked” material from Melania’s private conversations from her former (complete sellout) “best friend.” Not to mention virtually all other negative correspondence regarding Trump, including the type of the totally fictitious variety.
That said, these bombshells were those Biden clearly would have preferred left hidden, alongside Obama and Hillary’s rather blatant interference in the 2016 election, which still failed to work.
One can only hope that similarly nefarious efforts for 2020 will be thwarted as well.
