Looks like Emperor Biden finally got a crash course in civics.
One would think that a man with a nearly 50-year “career” in Washington, D.C. might understand concepts as basic as the separation of powers, but it appears that Biden has devoted his time to undergoing activities that directly challenge this separation.
Passing nearly 20 executive orders on Day 1 in office? Check.
For reference, Trump signed a grand total of one, and that one pertained to the construction of a border wall.
Arbitrarily withdrawing from a nation and disregarding advice from military generals? Check.
Of course, Biden was quick to blame Trump afterwards, when he even bothered to comment on Afghanistan at all, as he was conveniently hidden from the eyes of the media during a significant percentage of the withdrawal.
Suddenly passing a federal vaccine mandate that critically endangers the livelihood of multiple millions of Americans? Check.
However, in this particular circumstance, it looks like Biden just received an unexpected checkmate from Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who has just scored a major victory against Biden and his draconian mandates.
“We were the first state to file suit against this mandate and today we completed briefing in this case. We expect a ruling from the Court very soon.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
While Missouri was the first to file suit, it was not the only state to do so, given that at least nine others followed shortly thereafter.
After all, does Biden not realize that a mandate is not the same as law?
Even Obama understood this, as he ensured Obamacare was rammed through the House and Senate. Once that occurred, then companies could be fined.
However, Biden apparently thought he could bypass the whole legislative process and effectively bark out orders like … well, like a dictator.
Fortunately, Biden was recently brought back down to earth by U.S. District Judge Matthew Schelp, who effectively gave Biden a high school lesson in Civics in his written ruling.
“Congress did not clearly authorize CMS [the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services] to enact this politically and economically vast, federalism-altering, and boundary-pushing mandate.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
Needless to say, this ruling was a major victory for Schmitt, who openly praised the ruling and emphasized how the Biden administration attempted to override the power of the legislative branch entirely.
“What the court said today was that the Biden administration has no authority, there’s no statutory authority for them to do this – none whatsoever …
If you talk to the men and women in the health care field, who by the way a year ago were being honored as heroes and are threatened to be put on the unemployment line, they welcome this news … This was an egregious overreach.” [Source: The Daily Wire]

And the left likes to accuse Trump of being a dictator?
Apparently, Biden fails to follow his own advice anyway, which was fairly clear when Fox News’s Peter Doocy questioned Psaki about yet another mask-less Biden appearance over the weekend.
This time, the appearance ironically took place right by a sign that said “Masks Required.”
“Before Joe Biden was president, he said that COVID travel restrictions on foreign countries were ‘hysterical,’ ‘xenophobia,’ and ‘fearmongering.’ So, what changed?” [Source: The Daily Wire]
Psaki claimed that Biden’s comments had been “taken out of context.” How convenient.
Psaki was equally ineffectual in answering Doocy’s next question, notably regarding Biden eschewing masks in an indoor setting.
“We saw the President shopping indoors on Saturday behind glass that says face coverings acquired, but his face was uncovered. Why?” [Source: The Daily Wire]
Astonishingly, in the same breath, Psaki claimed that Biden follows CDC recommendations, explaining away the mask-less appearance by claiming she didn’t know “what the circumstances were at that particular moment.”
Psaki continued to provide non-responses as Doocy pressed, carrying on in the administration’s tradition of absolutely zero self-awareness. Or zero accountability.
Speaking of zero accountability, British commentator Piers Morgan recently tore Fauci apart for his brazen self-aggrandizement on multiple media platforms, especially when the nation’s “medical director” will simultaneously claim that he is only focused on saving lives.
Needless to say, Pierse remained unimpressed, which was abundantly clear in his scathing editorial.
“For someone whose day job is supposed to be leading America’s scientific and medical war against Covid-19, he seems to have an incredible amount of spare time for self-promotional media interviews …
If, as he insists, his only interest is in saving lives, then it’s time Anthony Fauci put his ego away, stayed off TV and shut the f*** up.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
