Big Tech’s Dark Role In Border Crisis Exposed

Looks like Facebook might want to take a fresh look at its “Community Standards.”

In particular all the points under Part II, the hilariously titled “Safety,” section. Ironically, the Facebook experience is oftentimes anything but safe, for everyone from vulnerable youth to future victims of terrorists, human traffickers, and other dangerous individuals who freely use Facebook platforms for a variety of exploitative objectives.

What’s the most ridiculous are Facebook’s rather self-congratulatory claims regarding how they supposedly deal with all these issues that arise on their platforms, which also include Instagram and WhatsApp.

Just consider how they supposedly deal with human exploitation.

“After consulting with outside experts from around the world, we are consolidating several existing exploitation policies, that were previously housed in different sections of the Community Standards into one dedicated section that focuses on human exploitation and captures a broad range of harmful activities that may manifest on our platform …

Experts think and talk about these issues under one umbrella human exploitation.

Clearly, Facebook hasn’t bothered to enforce much when it comes to the border crisis, including its own community guidelines.

And, as revealed in detail by a Haitian migrant, the multiple thousands of migrants ended up under the Del Rio Bridge courtesy of a “viral” campaign on social media, namely Facebook-owned WhatsApp, a campaign that the social media giant didn’t bother to stop.

Needless to say, this situation reveals Big Tech’s rather sticky situation.

After all, on the one hand, Big Tech clearly has to aid and abet Democrats at all times, yet at the same time, it also has to pretend to care about all the values shamelessly promoted in Silicon Valley, including anti-human smuggling stances.

While massive homeless encampments become increasingly overfilled down the road, courtesy of the highly unequal incomes in Northern California, which are largely due to the same “progressive” Big Tech CEOs and their monopolistic, anti-competitive practices.

DHS Alejandro Mayorkas has already sounded the alarm on “misinformation,” and virtually everyone now is aware of the sources from which misinformation springs.

“We are very concerned that Haitians who are taking the irregular migration path are receiving misinformation that the border is open … I want to make sure it is known that this is not the way to come to the United States.” [Source: Fox News]

The Biden administration currently has a golden opportunity to speak out against the insidious practices of Big Tech, but since those same practices helped sweep him into the Oval Office, it is no surprise that Biden will likely always go soft on Big Tech.

Instead, the Biden admin has decided to turn its attention to horses instead of Big Tech.

Unsurprisingly, the current furor over Border Patrol’s use of horses is also based on misinformation, namely claims that Border Patrol agents were “whipping” illegal migrants aggressively entering the nation.

However, as explained by Brandon Judd, who serves as the head of the National Border Patrol Council, the “whips” ranted about by the extreme leftists were reins, which are used to steer the horses.

“What they were holding were reins, they were not whips, those reins are used to control the horses … The agents also have to protect the migrants from the horses they can’t let them close if they try and so they will twirl the reins in their hands, but they do not hit them nor were any of those migrants hit by any object, let alone by a whip or a rein.” [Source: Fox News]

Unfortunately, the extreme left is addicted to the misinformation the media feeds them, which is precisely why the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has apparently decided that targeting horses is more important than targeting Big Tech.

As revealed crisply by a DHS spokesperson in a statement released shortly after the onslaught of leftist theory.

“We have ceased the use of the horse patrol in Del Rio temporarily. We’ll prioritize other methods for identifying individuals who might be in medical distress.” [Source: Fox News]

Well, that’s a beautiful distraction from the role played by Big Tech in elevating this catastrophe to untenable heights in the first place.

An effort that Judd sees right through.

“They know that what is taking place under the bridge is very embarrassing to them so they are trying to deflect … That’s the administration trying to deflect off themselves for their failures which led to the catastrophe that’s taking place under the bridge.”

That’s also the admin deflecting attention from social media giants, who play a formidable role in aiding and abetting the destruction of American borders and national security …
