After the hellacious first few days of the Biden administration, complete with a slew of executive orders on Day 1 that highly prioritized transgender teenagers and jailed illegal immigrants (in conjunction with his open support of Impeachment 2.0, of course), it is understandable to feel a bit despondent.
In addition, if you haven’t yet reviewed the slew of executive orders Biden has signed, one after the other, as evidenced in the ominous stack of orders in the introductory image, it is understandable. Considering Biden passed 17 on Day 1, as well as more this past Tuesday for, you guessed it, “racial equity” purposes.
Guess transgender teenagers (most of whom aren’t even attending school currently) and illegal immigrants superseded “racial equity” on Day 1 (Cue the Antifa riots … oh wait, they already started). Also note that “equity” is different from equality, in that equality means equal opportunity, whereas equity means equal outcomes.
A seemingly small, but utterly critical distinction, given that Trump pursues equality whereas Democrats pursue “equity”, otherwise known as a PC term for communism. Great.
Fortunately, a federal district judge, Drew B. Tipton, has already partially stymied Biden’s maniacal executive orders, courtesy of a suit launched by staunchly pro-American Ken Paxton, the Texas State AG (who is also a close supporter of Trump).
The suit was in response to one of Biden’s many anti-American, hard left executive orders, including, if you can believe it, a “100-day moratorium” on ALL deportations of illegal immigrants. That is correct, ALL. Regardless of criminal background, and regardless of pretty much everything else.
On top of that, Biden immediately followed up with this particular executive order in the form of a formal memo, wherein he demanded that U.S. Customs and Border Protection follow his will, existing immigration laws be damned. In other words, Biden simultaneously ordered U.S. Customs and Border Protection break the laws they’re sworn to follow, while also disabling their ability to enforce the law (and protect communities).
After all, it was hard work inventing enough ballots and stroking enough big tech egos to manipulate the election (which is also clearly illegal). So, from the lazy, Democrat viewpoint, it’s just so much easier to pack the nation with people who will blindly vote Democrat, no matter what.
Provided they can continuously reap the benefits of American taxpayers, of course.
As for the American taxpayers? They appear to be far from the limited mind of the Biden administration, but they are surely at the forefront of the mind for Paxton, who immediately launched suit in response to Biden’s asinine executive order.
Paxton, unlike the Democrats, provided specific facts, not to mention specific laws, to justify temporarily blocking the enforcement of Biden’s hilariously illegal executive order (all the more hilarious considering Biden is also chasing after Trump in an already “dead on arrival” Impeachment 2.0 for laws he didn’t break).
And Paxton made Biden’s disavowal of the law quite obvious from the get-go.
“In one of its first of dozens of steps that harm Texas and the nation as a whole, the Biden administration directed DHS to violate federal immigration law and breach an agreement to consult and cooperate with Texas on that law …
Our state defends the largest section of the southern border in the nation. Failure to properly enforce the law will directly and immediately endanger our citizens and law enforcement personnel …
DHS itself has previously acknowledged that such a freeze on deportations will cause concrete injuries to Texas. I am confident that these unlawful and perilous actions cannot stand. The rule of law and security of our citizens must prevail.” [Source: Breitbart]
Absolutely, 100 percent correct.
Biden’s executive order breaks the law, and it is safe to say Biden did not give any consideration whatsoever to the Texan taxpayers who could literally lose their lives over his ultra-woke agenda, likely a mere appetizer for the communist nation he envisions.
Thankfully, in one of his many clever moves, Trump ensured that literally hundreds of far saner judges remained on the bench even after he left, illustrating, again, that Trump has always put Americans first.
Paxton’s entire suit, complete with evidence, is precisely why Trump-appointed Judge Tipton sided in favor of Paxton over Biden, and, once again, provided a vastly more detailed, fact-filled justification than anyone has yet to see regarding an utter sham of an impeachment trial (and, for that matter, regarding the utter sham of the first impeachment).
“First, Texas demonstrates that it pays millions of dollars annually to provide social services and uncompensated healthcare expenses and other state-provided benefits to illegal aliens such as the Emergency Medicaid program, the Family Violence Program, and the Texas Children’s Health Insurance Program …
Additionally, Texas has presented evidence that it would incur increased educational costs … Texas anticipates suffering financial harm from which it cannot recover by suing the federal government …
The Court’s decision to stop the Biden administration from casting aside congressionally enacted immigration laws is a much-needed remedy for DHS’s unlawful action … A near-complete suspension of deportations would only serve to endanger Texans and undermine federal law.” [Source: Breitbart]
Exactly. Hear that, leftists? Those statements are known as “facts”, you know, the “facts” you claim are so critical. The emphasis on the “unlawful” executive order is particularly rewarding, particularly since the left seems so intent on laws Trump “may” have broken (that’s how pitifully incompetent they’ve become).
In addition to Biden’s executive order being hilariously illegal, it is also anti-American, given that studies illustrate American taxpayers would save at least $622 billion in taxes if all illegal immigrants were removed (that would be $622 billion AFTER accounting for deportation expenses).
In light of this news developing, Biden predictably ran for the hills and let someone else talk to the press, which the fake news of course permitted him to do, all for their “softball” approach towards Biden, of course. Instead, a White house sycophant (err, “spokesperson”), delivered a hollow statement that featured minimal sincerity and even more minimal sense.
“We’re confident that as the case proceeds, it will be clear that this measure was wholly appropriate in ordering a temporary pause to allow the agency to carefully review its policies, procedures, and enforcement priorities – while allowing for a greater focus on threats to public safety and national security … President Biden remains committed to taking immediate action to reform our immigration system to ensure it’s upholding American values while keeping our communities safe.” [Source: Fox News]
Right, ok. No wonder this spokesperson wasn’t even named, as they’d likely be embarrassed delivering such a nonsensical mess.
First off: “threats to public safety.” Hm. Given the focus on “defund police”, not to mention bailing violent criminals out of jail before becoming elected, one can only imagine how little Biden will respect the law now that he is elected.
Second off: “keeping our communities safe.” Right, again because “defund police” has proven so effective at that (on the contrary, murder rates rose to astronomical levels in 2020). Not to mention “the world’s most notorious gang”, MS-13, which will flourish even more under Biden, despite causing years of death and destruction.
Regardless, Paxton’s suit and Tipton’s ruling do bring a glimmer of hope to an otherwise gloomy start to an excruciatingly intolerable presidency, and Trump’s continued protection of America via his hundreds of appointed judges illustrates how Trump, once again, helps keep Americans safe.
May other states follow the lead of Texas … and Trump.
