Well, if Hollywood didn’t go crazy enough over Trump becoming President, they have become even crazier when Trump isn’t President.
So crazy that they’ve actually concocted a curiously inciteful hashtag, #43Traitors, to apparently target GOP Senators who had the apparent gall to support the Constitution.
Question: If something terrible befalls one of these senators, can idiot celebrities be held criminally liable for rather inflammatory social media?
Hopefully, that situation will never, ever occur, but some celebrities’ “tweets” leave quite a bit to be desire, particularly for supposed “progressives.”
Debra Messing, an “actress” who specialized in theater decades ago as a “major” in college, has apparently assumed her limited fame has given her the power to somehow overturn 43 GOP Senators.
“KEEP THIS LIST. WE HAVE WORK TO DO. #2022Iscoming 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥” [Source: The Blaze]
Yeah, ok, Ms. Messing, you keep “working” on the removal of 43 GOP Senators. After all, she apparently has such a prolific influence on the American public that the number her “followers” approximate 1/300th of the number of followers of the average Kardashian.
Speaking of the Kardashians, they apparently have yet to comment on Trump’s acquittal. Clearly, they apparently work more than the social media lynch mob, or they’re smart enough not to leave implicit threats in written messages.
Kind of leads one to wonder whether or not an inverse correlation exists between a celebrity’s Trump derangement system and their increasingly diminishing popularity, what little they may have had to begin with, as some of the most virulent tweets come from individuals who wouldn’t even be recognized in a local Dunkin’ Donuts.
Regardless, it would be more advisable for Ms. Messing to “work” on her “theater” skills instead. If she were really that passionate about politics, she would have likely acquired a somewhat more substantive background in political science.
Then again, any leftist in Hollywood can apparently remain tangentially relevant by mimicking the herd, however destructive it may be.
Such as the rage spewed “actor” Ron Pearlman, who ranted:
“Yo donnie. You’re about to be acquitted. But just like you got your ass kicked out of office by the American people, you will always be just a stain. Forever. Because we see you. You piece of s***.” [Source: The Blaze]
Given the list of entertainment “credits” for Mr. Pearlman, he might want to rethink that commentary.
Also, would someone get these “actors” a thesaurus, as they appear to be a bit limited in their vocabulary outside of their overly simplistic scripts? You know, kind of like the current federal government.
Clearly, Mr. Pearlman is also apparently soldiering along the Robert De Niro route, who, coincidentally enough, openly proclaimed his interest in hitting the President years ago. That’s correct: In the spirit of an Italian mobster, De Niro has previously proclaimed:
“He talks [about] how he wants to punch people in the face? … Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.” [Source: The Washington Post]
Just a few years later, Cuomo effectively plagiarized De Niro, claiming he also “would have” punched Trump if he “wasn’t NYC governor.”
Fairly fancy talk for a governor now under investigation for lying about the deaths of thousands of elderly COVID patients.
As nauseating as the rather uneducated lemmings of Hollywood come across, Rosie O’Donnell perhaps takes the cake, both in terms of vitriol and apparent illiteracy.
Ever eloquent Rosie O’Donnell, who should consider abstaining from tweeting under the influence of overwrought emotion, was also full of negativity, at least in the more decipherable parts of her tweets.
“well f**k u all – traitors – cult members – reality deniers u have no shame – u tossed ur legacy in with his – the nation will not forget ur betrayal – he tried to kill mike pence for gods sake – what will it take – damn it.” [Source: Twitter]
Well, where to begin with Ms. O’Donnell. For starters, the atrocious grammar.
“Ur?” Wow, spelled like a true liberal. Either that, or O’Donnell is trying to ingratiate herself further with the even more illiterate Antifa/BLM mob.
As for the claim that Trump “tried to kill mike pence?” Right, ok. If that isn’t being a “reality denier,” per Ms. O’Donnell’s eloquent remarks, it is quite unclear what would constitute a total denial of reality.
Hey, Twitter, where is the “disputed” tag on O’Donnell’s page? Ah, that’s right … Dorsey is probably promoting O’Donnell’s tweets at the time of this writing.
And, like a classic leftist, Ms. O’Donnell just can’t shut up on social media.
“spare us mitch – u voted NOT guilty so shut the french toast #43traitors.” [Source: The Blaze]
Shut the French toast? That’s not even worth the effort to decipher, but it is worth the effort to remind the unbalanced to avoid tweeting while under the influence of anything, perhaps emotional outrage most of all.
All in all, celebrities effectively proved that they’re little more than (vastly) overpaid brats with less of a spine than Antifa/BLM, which says … a lot.
That said, intellectual capabilities between the two are likely on par, ceteris paribus.
Good riddance to whatever fleeting fame they have left, which apparently is only achieved from riding off of Trump’s coattails.
