Stop the (real) presses: Fake news media has actually called out Biden for his latest deception of the American public.
Even more insanely, the fake news media outlet that dared to criticize King Biden is none other than The Washington Post, colloquially known as WaPo and popularly known as one of the most fact-averse publications out there, a well-deserved reputation based upon its horrific treatment of Nick Sandmann alone.
However, perhaps WaPo had a change of heart or a change in leadership (or perhaps a fusion of both), as evidenced by its employment of journalists who appear to have an actual clue.
Glenn Kessler, a fact-checker for WaPo, recently eviscerated Biden’s commentary regarding the passage of new voting legislation in Georgia, given that Biden not only openly attacked this legislation, but he also misrepresented it.
Exhibit A: Biden’s rantings and ravings at a press conference
“What I’m worried about is how un-American this whole initiative is. It’s sick. It’s sick … Deciding that you’re going to end voting at five o’clock when working people are just getting off work.” [Source: Fox News]
So, repeating “sick” twice. Fairly strong commentary for someone who clearly doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Even worse, Biden apparently still didn’t know what he was talking about in a formal written statement, issued a day later, which further underscored his rather remarkable detachment from what is really going on in the country that he’s presumably in charge of running.
“Among the outrageous parts of this new state law, it ends voting hours early so working people can’t cast their vote after their shift is over.” [Source: Fox News]
Actually, Biden, what is truly “outrageous” is your failure to grasp the inaccuracies in your own statements, including the fact that recent legislation passed in Georgia expands opportunities for others to vote, which is precisely why Kessler laid out the cold, hard truth about Biden’s wild inaccuracies (and corresponding melodrama) in The Washington Post.
“One could understand a flub in a news conference. But then this same claim popped up in an official presidential statement. Not a single expert we consulted who has studied the law understood why Biden made this claim, as this was the section of law that expanded early voting for many Georgians.” [Source: Fox News]
Thank you, Kessler. Thank you for using WaPo as a reliable outlet for once, which brings to mind what the newspaper used to be like, pre-Bezos and definitely pre-snowflake.
In addition, after criticizing Biden’s willful ignorance, Kessler also indicated all the ways that Biden has been wrong in his assessment of voter legislation in Georgia, including the hours in which Georgians are permitted to vote.
“On Election Day in Georgia, polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and if you are in line by 7 p.m., you are allowed to cast your ballot. Nothing in the new law changes those rules. However, the law did make some changes to early voting. But experts say the net effect was to expand the opportunities to vote for most Georgians, not limit them.” [Source: Fox News]
Thus, the only thing “sick” about the legislation just passed in Georgia includes the fact that Biden apparently had no idea what he was talking about when launching full scale criticisms of it.
Moreover, Biden took another opportunity to stoke division, which Kessler also noted.
“Biden framed his complaint in terms of a slap at working people. The law would ‘end voting at five o’clock when working people are just getting off work’ or ‘ends voting hours early so working people can’t cast their vote after their shift is over.” [Source: Fox News]
Clearly, Biden’s framing was inaccurate, and he caused senseless division for nothing. Furthermore, this division is also remarkable in that “no evidence” exists to back up Biden’s claims, which is all the more galling considering his insistence upon his administration’s supposed transparency.
“Somehow Biden managed to turn that expansion into a restriction aimed at working people, calling it ‘among the outrageous parts’ of the law. There’s no evidence that is the case.” [Source: Fox News]
As a result of “no evidence,” Kessler assigned Biden a score of “Four Pinnochios,” the harshest possible rating WaPo can dole out in the event of failed fact-checking.
Now, just imagine if Kessler and other likeminded individuals apply the same critical analysis to all Biden’s other nonsense, notably at the border … it would be quite interesting to see how quickly Americans’ eyes are opened.
In particular the eyes of blind Biden voters …
