Looks like the Biden has two major waves coming through on the home front and the international front.
On the international front, it is no surprise that Putin is presently dancing circles around Biden, notably after faking out the federal government with plans to talk “in principle.”
Too bad that announcement happened to correspond with Russian tanks bulldozing across the Ukrainian border.
On the home front, it looks like Biden’s desire to squash protest in Canada, which he does not even (officially) govern, has backfired on him, especially as the 2022 USA Freedom Convoy is set to barrel from one swamp to another, or from California to Washington, D.C., just in time for Biden’s disingenuous address to the union.
Kyle Sefcik, who serves as the organizer and leader of the movement, made it clear that the truckers, along with countless other hardworking Americans, “want to be there for [the State of the Union speech] and tell the president we’re here.”
“[The convoy] doesn’t even need to happen,” Sefcik continued, “If the president said, ‘Mandates are over and the state of emergency is over. Let’s get back to the world and let’s do our thing,’ then we’re not even coming.”
In other words, unlike BLM, which immediately exploits tragedies to start Christmas shopping early, securing the greatest “Black Friday” sales of all, the Freedom Convoy is asking for a discussion before even gathering to assemble peacefully.
If the situation were reversed, BLM would have already bulldozed trucks into Saks Fifth Avenue, as a sea of Gucci bags apparently must be acquired for free to make up for past transgressions.
However, the Freedom Convoy opts for different tactis.
“We have to get the attention in the most peaceful way and this is our way of doing it … Do we want to stop businesses from being able to be open and people being able to get to work and school? No,” Sefcik remarked, “we don’t want to cause this at all which is why we’re telling the president ahead of time to end this now. We don’t even have to come.”
Unfortunately, it appears that the Freedom Convoy has to come, especially when considering the dreadful results of Democrat attitudes revealed by a Trafalgar Group poll, as reported by the Daily Wire.
“Democrats overwhelmingly favored Trudeau’s response with 65% approval to 17% disapproval. Republican responses were weighted even more heavily against Trudeau, however, with 87% of likely GOP voters disapproving to just 8% approving. Respondents who said they did not belong to either one of the two main parties cut against Trudeau’s crackdown with 74% disapproving versus 21% approving.”
So, in other words, the majority of Democrats oppose yet another element of the First Amendment.
Freedom of speech is definitely not respected, and freedom of assembly is apparently only acceptable if it involves Antifa burning courthouses and police stations or BLM looting expensive merchandise while simultaneously shooting at cops.
All while claiming society is “racist,” of course.
Needless to say, Empress Pelosi feels much more inclined to zero in on truckers, who actually contribute something to the economy, than she does with the violent criminals who have turned San Francisco into a total cesspool.
Then again, since Pelosi lives in a private jet, she never has to deal with the literal and metaphorical mess she’s created.
“We are monitoring the situation closely but deferred to the USCP, which is in charge of security,” Drew Hammill, who serves in the unenviable spokesperson position for Pelosi, remarked.
U.S. Capitol Police are also apparently preparing to crush people’s right to peacefully assemble, as revealed by an official statement from the organization.
“The United States Capitol Police and the United States Secret Service have been closely working together to plan for the upcoming State of the Union,” U.S. Capitol Police declared, “the temporary inner-perimeter fence is part of those ongoing discussions and remains an option, however at this time no decision has been made.”
This weekend should be interesting …
