There is talk, and then there is action. The “promise” of the Biden administration was “unity,” and it is safe to say that “unity” is a promise that the Biden administration barely kept. To be fair, however, Biden’s warning of a “dark winter” was certainly fulfilled.
In more ways than one. In fact, had these types of rather non-coincidental political events occurred on Wall Street, it is safe to say that a legitimate investigation into insider trader should be made. Unfortunately, the swamp is apparently self-regulating and hardly representative of the people anymore.
Which means that “unity” was another fake promise just to ensure re-election. Even more ironically, the main parties who are actually acting towards unity are conservative in nature, rather than the division-addicted Democrats.
Just consider the most recent proposition in Oklahoma, Senate Bill 803, authored by GOP State Senator Shane Jett. Per this bill, school districts will not be permitted to engage in “critical race theory,” otherwise known as the literature of BLM.
And Sen. Jett called out critical race theory for exactly what it is: deliberate divisiveness.
“It’s teaching divisive concepts and ideology to young people … It is Marxist in origin and it’s designed to cause children to, instead of looking at what makes us unique and special and American, it causes them to pit themselves against each other based on the color of their skin.” [Source: The Blaze]
Furthermore, the definition of “divisive concepts” are clearly defined, unlike the generalities that define the Democrats, including Queen Psaki (how the much more intelligent, vastly more educated McEnany is missed more and more), the idea of “divisive concepts” is clearly defined, including the following divisive ideas:
“One race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex … the United States is fundamentally racist or sexist … an individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously … an individual should be discriminated against or receive adverse treatment solely or partly because of his or her race or sex.”
[Source: The Blaze]
Divisive, indeed. As well as the Democrat playbook. After all, ideas alone will never get them into office. At this point, nothing will get them into office aside from dangerous division, topped off with a stolen election or two … or more.
On top of that, the goodies of divisiveness do not end there. Other pearls of wisdom offered by “critical race theory” include the following:
“An individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, bears responsibility for actions committed in the past by other members of the same race or sex … meritocracy or traits such as a hard work ethic are racist or sexist or were created by a particular race to oppress another race.” [Source: The Blaze]
Ah yes. The horrors of meritocracy. Ironically, meritocracy is the ultimate level playing field, given that this concept essentially entails that individuals earn their place in society through merit (i.e., education, experience, and everything else that everyone has the opportunity to work for in the United States). In other words, meritocracy does not discriminate; it rewards effort and does not reward the opposite.
Which Jett himself made clear:
“The fundamental equality that is part of the American ideal is what we’re trying to underscore here.” [Source: The Blaze]
Sounds reasonable, right? For the Democrats – nope. After all, they’ve already responded, bashing the proposed bill as … wait for it … “racist.”
According to leftist George Young, this bill is apparently designed to “silence” conversations about race in schools. The horror!
“It was racially insensitive I thought. It was not a well-written bill; it seems like it said we don’t care and we are going to say these things … You are going to penalize teachers that teach the truth.” [Source: The Blaze]
At this point in time, it is really difficult to make any new commentary on the utter insanity of the left, aside from the fact that the blanket hatred of America has never been as clear as it is now.
