For someone who claims to be so racially sensitive, Joe Biden sure seems to make quite a few racial gaffes. While his “you ain’t black comment” is well-known for enraging many and drawing the ire of many famous Black celebrities, his most recently publicized gaffe is arguably even worse.
Why? Because Biden was caught straight up lying. Yes, much in the same way he was caught in deception during a presidential bid more than 30 years ago, he has now been caught with his hand in the cookie jar of deception once more. Clearly, this cookie jar is made of glass, as it doesn’t take long for the transparency of the Democrats’, and by default, Biden’s, open lies to surface abruptly.
Cue the fake news media cycle of Democratic distraction from yet another need to deflect Biden’s gaffes!
While mixing up some past details can be understandable, one usually does not forget one’s alma mater, especially a university alma mater. However, in the most astonishing lapse to date, Biden claimed to have attended a historically Black university in Delaware. This statement may have sounded great to highly impressionable snowflakes and other rabid leftists intent on highlighting how “progressive” Biden is.
“I got started out of an HBCU, Delaware State — now, I don’t want to hear anything negative about Delaware State,” Biden told the audience. “They’re my folks.” [Source: The Blaze]
This claim did not sound so great to DSU, however, which actually issued a statement regarding Biden’s absence of attendance at the school via its director of news services, Carol Holmes.
“Vice President Biden did not attend DSU … However he was the Commencement keynote speaker in 2003 and , and during the former he was awarded an honorary doctoral degree,” Holmes said. [Source: The Blaze]
Apparently, Biden considers an “honorary” degree as evidence of attendance and hard work, much in the same way he considers a plagiarized paper during his law school years to be evidence of being a hardworking law student (this plagiarism is widely cited for torpedoing his presidential bid before).
This new story, unsurprisingly, has also surfaced during a rather unfortunate time. After all, Trump is set to debate Biden on September 29, which provides Trump with even more fodder to use against Biden, not to mention the entire Democratic party.
Aside from this inconvenient timing, Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, have made things even worse by refusing to remain silent. For instance, when Jill Biden was recently, and rightfully, questioned about her husband’s rather obvious gaffes, she, in the true spirit of the fake news that serves her, deflected by focusing on Trump instead.
Hilariously, the question actually came from CNN, one of the outlets that the Bidens apparently deem worthy of their attention since they so seldom give it to the public. However, when CNN host Jake Tapper commented, in the most soft ball of soft ball ways, about Biden’s “occasional gaffes” (occasional?!), that apparently wasn’t soft ball enough for Jill Biden, who rudely interrupted him and snarled, “you can’t even go there!”
Thanks for revealing the extent of your tolerance, Jill. Duly noted.
Then again, Biden’s latest falsehood is even worse, as he had the audacity to proclaim Trump “isn’t that smart” in the days leading up to their debate.
Biden said, “Look, the people know the president’s a liar. They know that. It is not going to come as a surprise to them.”
He added, “My guess is it’s going to be a straight attack, it’s going to be personal. It’s the only thing he knows how to do. He doesn’t know how to debate the facts because he’s not that smart. He doesn’t know that many facts.” [Source: Breitbart]
Sigh. So, Trump isn’t “that smart” despite brokering one of the greatest peace deals of the century, and on top of that, he’s also a “liar”? The rather obvious elephant in the room is the fact that Biden himself just got caught in a whopper of a lie; on top of that, it was a lie that could easily be invalidated by some simple record checking. And it was.
Either Biden is deliberately lying, or his cognitive abilities have declined to the point that he does not remember the university he attended. Is he also going to address Xi as Putin, or vice versa?
One can only hope that this lie will make its way into the debates tomorrow, though Trump may have more than ample material available that has yet to be revealed.
No matter what occurs, one thing is for certain: Trump is certainly the one “winning” in terms of the facts, honesty, and memory, which makes him more than well-equipped to shepherd this nation forward in the years to come.
