Democrats apparently think that controlling the narrative of big tech companies means that they can control the narrative anywhere, including entire hotel chains with branches all over the world. And, since Hyatt apparently had the gall (in leftist land) to host the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), the hashtag #BoycottHyatt unsurprisingly began trending online.
And why exactly was Hyatt Hotel the exact target of Democrat rage? Well, apparently, by hosting the event, Democrats insisted that the hotel chain was “endorsing” the event.
Numerous keyboard warriors took to Twitter, their one and only weapon, to rant about the Hyatt and white supremacy (surprise, surprise … will they ever think of any new insults or labels?) Check out the “wisdom” of one tweeter below.
“Hey @Hyatt, we’re boycotting your hotels for supporting and allowing white supremacists to hold CPAC at your Orlando location. I travel a lot, and you just lost my business, and I’ll tell everyone I know to do the same. Shame on you.” [Source: The Blaze]
Wow. What a “loss” Hyatt will experience from an individual like this. Good riddance.
Plus, as far as the claims that Hyatt “endorses” the GOP? Right, ok. So, by that same “logic,” insanely liberal speakers at college campuses are apparently also endorsed by the universities.
Actually, upon closer reflection, those speakers probably are endorsed by universities, after all; however, hotels (for now) remain a tad more politically neutral and pro-free speech, as evidenced by the response to Democrat nonsense by Hyatt itself.
“We take pride in operating a highly inclusive environment and we believe that the facilitation of gatherings is a central element of what we do as a hospitality company. We believe in the right of individuals and organizations to peacefully express their views, independent of the degree to which the perspectives of those hosting meetings and events at our hotels align with ours …
Our own values support a culture that is characterized by empathy, respect and diversity of opinions and backgrounds, and we strive to bring this to light through what we do and how we engage with those in our care.”

Imagine that, Democrats. Hyatt just seriously schooled you on the real definition of “highly inclusive,” and that definition would 100 percent include alternative viewpoints to those of the Democrats.
Of course, Twitter users also went ballistic over the Hyatt apparently using a word that the Dems believe they have full ownership of: inclusive.
“The people at cpac started an insurrection that killed a cop and injured over one hundred cops and they aren’t sorry. They aren’t wearing masks. So I know I will never stay at another Hyatt again because if that’s how u define inclusive, I’m out.” [Source: The Blaze]
Well, I am glad to see “u” feel that way. Don’t let the door hit “u” on the way out. These people are seriously the best the Democrats have got? Really?
In addition, the Hyatt really socked it to the Dems by adding that the organization values a “diversity of opinions and backgrounds,” which is another “trigger phrase” for most hysterical Democrats, albeit a phrase that is right in line with the Constitution.
Lead CPAC organizer Matthew Schlapp fired back at these ridiculous accusations, openly calling them out for the nonsense conspiracy theory regarding the supposedly racist setup of the stage (Yes, Democrats can find racism in almost anything, including apparently stage design for a party that is vastly more pro-Israel than the Democrats can ever hope to be).
“Stage design conspiracies are outrageous and slanderous. We have a long standing commitment to the Jewish community. Cancel culture extremists must address antisemitism within their own ranks. CPAC proudly stands with our Jewish allies, including those speaking from this stage.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
Schlapp’s comments were undoubtedly addressed, at least in part, to the individuals who claimed that the CPAC was effectively hosting numerous Nazis. For a party so obsessed with “trigger” language, they sure do like to throw around the phrase “Nazi” a lot …
At the end of the day, no matter how many Twitter tantrums are thrown by frequently obscured (or heavily photoshopped) faces, the keyboard warriors cannot change the fact that Trump isn’t going anywhere. As noted by Trump’s senior advisor himself, Jason Miller.
“Trump effectively is the Republican Party. The only chasm is between Beltway insiders and grassroots Republicans around the country. When you attack President Trump, you’re attacking the Republican grassroots.” [Source: The Blaze]
Exactly. Provided the likes of simpering McConnell and other rather obvious RINOs wake up to this fact, the GOP very well may have an excellent shot of a mega-red wave in 2022 … and an even larger mega-red wave in 2024.
