Stop the presses!
Perhaps the most shocking event of this entire week has just occurred. Given all the calamity that has continued ensuing with the Biden administration, this claim might seem a tad dramatic, but while this even may or may not truly be the most shocking, it is especially shock worthy.
Especially since this shock affects conservatives very favorably and liberals rather … unfavorably.
As many Americans are now aware, multiple states have eschewed state mandated masks and other COVID restrictions, including Texas, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, Florida, and several others, enough to constitute roughly one-third of the nation’s states.
And while approximately one-third of the nation’s states is a powerful enough indictment on the anti-science (yet very pro-authoritarian) administration, the majority of these states are largely conservative, which means that they can roundly dismissed by fake news media. Or called “Neanderthals” by “the great uniter” Biden.
However, it looks like one of the most reliably blue states has finally woken up to common sense, as Connecticut is now one of the latest states to lift COVID restrictions. Firmly ensconced in the Northeast, well within the vicinity of New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and other reliably radical states, Connecticut has also apparently decided that enough is enough with regard to COVID.
The Governor of Connecticut, Ned Lamont, made the announcement yesterday, much to the rage of fake news media and others who have a vested interest in prolonging the COVID nightmare for as long as possible.
Instead of continuing to follow the utterly draconian measures of California and New York, Lamont has surprisingly proclaimed that all retail facilities, gyms, museums, religious centers, and even restaurants will be “open at full capacity,” starting on March 19.
Lamont also added, in a very similar vein to Texas, that the virus situation would of course still be carefully monitored, but businesses will continue to exist (a communist’s nightmare, in other words).
“While it is encouraging to see the number of cases in our state gradually going down and people getting vaccinated at rates that are among the highest in the nation, we need to continue taking this virus seriously to mitigate its spread as much as possible.” [Source: Fox News]
Rather curious timing, especially given that Biden just called other governors “Neanderthals” for daring to loosen COVID restrictions. Wonder if Lamont may find himself a target of the Biden administration next?
And, predictably, the CDC instantly had to launch in with its own rather tired gloom and doom predictions, which could have been predicted by virtually anyone ten miles away by this point.
After all, the CDC has nothing to offer but gloom and doom, right in line with Biden’s rather foretelling “dark winter.”
Just consider the commentary from the organization’s “Director,” Rochelle Walensky.
“With these new statistics, I am really worried about reports that more states are rolling back the exact public health measures we have recommended to protect people from Covid-19 … I understand the temptation to do this — 70,000 cases a day seems good compared to where we were just a few months ago — but we cannot be resigned to 70,000 cases a day, 2,000 daily deaths.” [Source: Fox News]
In other words, Walensky is more and more worried about the CDC, in cahoots with the fake news media and Harris-Biden administration, losing the authoritarian grip under which Americans have lived in the past year.
After all, if all the vaccines really are ready to roll out by May (no one should hold their breath on that one), then why exactly is Biden and Co. so opposed to any semblance of liberty?
One can only hope that some new mutant strain doesn’t magically appear before May, thereby “permitting” the federal government to become more authoritarian than ever … Then again, Biden is allowing COVID-positive illegal immigrants to enter the nation …
Curious timing. All of it …
