CNN, for once, has been put in its place.
At least temporarily.
After all, the network kind of had to after a rather damning release of multiple documents revealing (gasp!) one of their own (yet again) not only demonstrated brazen bias, but also interfered with an ongoing investigation.
And that someone is none other than Chris Cuomo, who apparently felt compelled defend the indefensible when it comes to his brother, former Governor Andrew Cuomo.
“The New York Attorney General’s office released transcripts and exhibits Monday that shed new light on Chris Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s defense …
The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions. When Chris admitted to us he had offered advice to his brother’s staff, he broke our rules and we acknowledged that publicly. But we also appreciated the unique position he was in and understood his need to put family first and job second.” [Source: Fox News]
“Shed new light.” That’s a nice way of putting it.
More like “exposed Mr. Cuomo’s brazen deception of the public, not to mention his brazen manipulation of an ongoing investigation,” but that wording appears to be exclusively reserved for individuals who lean remotely conservative.
Moreover, as far as “the unique position” Chris Cuomo was in? Seriously?
He is in a position of unprecedented influence and power (sadly), but CNN “appreciates” that he needs to ally with family first, no matter what the consequences are for democracy, not to mention the basic truth?
Hmm, seems like royals behaving badly in Europe (i.e., family over truth, corruption over morality) … the same royals our Founding Fathers escaped from.
How circular history can be …
Though at the moment, Mr. Cuomo has at least been summarily relieved of his duties.

“In his brother’s efforts than we previously knew… ” Interesting. What exactly did CNN “know” before?
As far as “a greater level of involvement” is concerned, it is safe to say that the level is enormously disturbing, particularly for someone aligned with the #MeToo party.
For instance, in interview transcripts with investigators, Mr. Chris Cuomo actually admitted to using his vast resources to find out about any other women coming forward with allegations against his brother.
“When asked, I would reach out to sources, other journalists, to see if they had heard of anybody else coming out.” [Source: Fox News]
In other words, “when asked,” Andrew Cuomo’s brother was on the hunt for whoever else would be coming forward, undoubtedly in an effort to attempt to squash their stories as enthusiastically as the media squashes any and all negative stories regarding Hunter Biden.
On top of that, not only did Chris Cuomo go out of his way to find out if anyone else would be coming forward, but he also went out of his way to directly interfere with the women themselves, directly colluding with “mean girl” Melissa DeRosa, former Governor Cuomo’s former long-term aid.

Well, that sounds nice and inclusive. And Trump is accused of misogyny? Seems like all bets are off when it comes to anyone threatening a sacred Democrat.
On top of that, Chris Cuomo sent that rather incriminating message in a text, no less.
Whatever happened to the Democrat mantra, “Believe all women?”
Seems like as soon as one of those women report on a Democrat’s misbehavior, be it Tara Reade and Biden or who knows how many women and Cuomo, it goes from “believe all women” to “target all women” …
And, even more problematically, one can only wonder what CNN have really done had this information been released behind the scenes … would Mr. Cuomo have still been suspended if only CNN knew?
Judging from the network’s behavior in other settings, it is unlikely …
After all, this is the same network that suspended James Toobin after rather lewd behavior caught on air, only to reinstate him shortly thereafter.
Wonder if Mr. Chris Cuomo may enjoy a similar “punishment” …
