If the name Nicholas Sandmann does not ring a bell, the above photo will definitely remind you of who he is and what he endured under the fake news blood bath.
Luckily, in 2020, Sandmann shined at the GOP Convention, where he called out the fake news media for exactly what it was. Furthermore, despite being only eighteen years old, he also demonstrated more poise and rationality in his pinky finger than the entire mass of “adults” running fake news networks.
“I found myself face-to-face with Nathan Phillips and other professional protestors looking to turn me into the latest poster child showing why Trump is bad …
While the media portrayed me as the aggressor with a “relentless smirk” on my face, in reality the video confirms I was standing with my hands behind my back and an awkward smile on my face that hid two thoughts. One, don’t do anything that might further agitate the man banging a drum in my face and two, trying to follow a family friend’s advice never to do anything to embarrass your family, your school, or your community …” [Source: Breitbart]
Unfortunately, in spite of Sandmann’s clear moral compass and love for his family and community, the fake news media does not like narratives that run contrary to “their facts.” So, they decided to ruin Sandmann’s life instead, for as long as they could until the truth was revealed.
Sandmann, however, ended his speech on a positive note.
“My life changed forever in that one moment. The full war machine of the mainstream media revved up into attack mode. They did so without ever researching the full video of the incident … And do you know why? Because the truth wasn’t important. Advancing their anti-Christian, anti-Conservative, anti-Donald Trump narrative was all that mattered …
But I wouldn’t be cancelled. I fought back hard to expose the media for what they did to me and won a personal victory. While much more must be done, I look forward to the day that the media returns to providing balanced, responsible and accountable news coverage …
I know President Trump hopes for that too. I’m proud to say that throughout my media nightmare I have had President Trump’s unwavering support.” [Source: Breitbart]
It truly is a strange time when adults have gone from telling kids not to bully to bully a kid themselves. On national TV. Repeatedly. And then demand he is “cancelled.”
As revealed in Sandmann’s speech, the real story is that while the Covington High School student (now a Covington graduate) stood calmly, making no confrontation whatsoever. Then, a Native American “activist,” marched over to Sandmann and began screaming at him, banging a drum in his face and deliberately trying to invoke a response.
Taking the high road, Sandmann remained calm and still, and he refused to respond to the insults and harassment, which was ultimately revealed when the real story came out.
Perhaps what angered the fake news media the most was the MAGA hat, which is sure to send any leftist into a fit of rage due to highly insufficient self-regulation, and the fake news media was no exception. They played the story about Sandmann relentlessly, despite his then-minor age and despite the total absence of facts, barring a deliberately edited video.
Once the real video was released, every single fake news network finally realized that it was openly caught completely inventing a story, aside from Brat Bezos, that is. Of course, he had to take things a step further and try to defend the rather untenable position of The Washington Post, and it was not until March of 2019 that an “editor’s note” was issued about the egregious coverage of Mr. Sandmann.
While fake news media was quite gleeful about Sandmann’s initial lawsuit attempt against The Washington Post not going as planned, they have remained unsurprisingly silent about the fact that both CNN and The Washington Post have had to settle quietly with the recent Covington High School graduate, and they are definitely silent about the fact that other fake news networks will soon follow.
Since Sandmann sued for $250M given the onslaught of death threats from “verified” leftist accounts, not to mention the fact that his name is now indelibly linked to a fake news story, it is quite possible that both networks settled for a more sizable sum.
Moreover, Sandmann has been given much higher honors than any rabid commentator on fake news when he delivered his powerful speech at the RNC Convention, successfully excoriating “cancel culture” and defying the fake news media.
The fake news media’s response? Typical, and characteristic of eight year old bullies. More specifically, CNN correspondent Joe Lockhart proclaimed that he would not “watch this snot nosed entitled kid from Kentucky.”
Interesting. So, this “kid from Kentucky” is “entitled” because he defended himself against a mass of death threats? Because he stands up for freedom? Not a single iota of “entitlement” was in Sandmann’s speech, but since Lockhart didn’t bother to watch it in full, he proceeded to make ignorant comments.
Maybe it isn’t the best idea to publicly label someone “entitled” and a “snot nose” if the employer has already settled with Sandmann over libel. Then again, liberals, in particular fake news commentators, are not exactly intellectual powerhouses.
Good for Trump for having a range of refreshingly diverse speakers, not to mention real Americans, which contrasts rather sharply with the America-hating show featured by the DNC Convention.
Actions, not words, mark the Trump presidency. That’s why the fake news media so seldom reports on his actions.
