Is it any surprise that the DHS has torpedoed the so-called “Disinformation Governance” Board more quickly than CNN torpedoed CNN+?
Almost as if the left is attempting to compete with itself in terms of who can achieve the greatest metaphorical self-immolation.
However, it is likely that the DHS has wisely decided to terminate the straight out of Orwell “Ministry of Truth” apparatus, which is little more than yet another authoritarian tool to make sure people think “the right” way, all due to the disinformation emanating from none other than Biden himself.
Consider the following clueless tweet, which clearly panders to the Democrats’ economically illiterate base.
“You want to bring down inflation? Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share,” Biden brayed.
Needless to say, that remark drew ire from one of the most ardent leftists of all: Jeff Bezos.
That’s right: Bezos, who has long been at odds with Trump, has garnered quite the reputation for supporting BLM with millions, millions that were subsequently spent on Patrisse Cullors’ personal enrichment and real estate profile, rather than the minority communities she claims to support.
The same Bezos whose Washington Post served as an effective attack dog for the Democrats for years, as well also this day.
The same Bezos who continues to pick a fight with the vastly more intelligent, not to mention decent, Elon Musk.
But even that Bezos apparently can’t stand such a disinformer in chief anymore.
“The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead,” Bezos drawled, “raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.”
“Misdirection” is perhaps one of the nicest ways Bezos could put it, and even he knows deep down that Trump is a vastly superior alternative to Biden, especially in economic matters.
Even an Obama advisor fact checked Biden’s economic absurdities.
Jason Furman, a Harvard professor, remarked that “corporate power is playing likely a very small role in the inflation that we’re seeing right now,” effectively eliminating Biden’s conflation of the two.
Now if only that memo would get to Biden’s top cronies, such as Ms. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who continues to bleat on about corporate taxation while personally accruing a fortune of $300M+ in the markets.
“We need to have a bright light of transparency on how companies are making big profits at the expense – and this is in the energy sector, at the expense of the consumer,” Pelosi brayed.
More like the American public needs a “bright light of transparency” on her $300M fortune, which is quite the amount of wealth to amass over decades of so-called public service.
Little wonder that BLM has followed in Pelosi’s dubious lead, though everyone knows Pelosi cackles behind closed doors at the perpetually “useful idiots,” to borrow a phrase originating from the Democrats’ heroes: Russian tyrants.
After all, those tyrants gave the Democrats a lie to run with for years over Trump’s so-called collusion, a convenient distraction from the Biden family’s real dealings with China, Russia, Ukraine, and who knows who else.
Yes, Lenin’s “useful idiots” are indeed the gift that keeps on giving to the Democrat party.
Ones who will never question Pelosi’s nonsense as they don’t have the knowledge or the focus to think of such questions in the first place.
“And we also are having the same kind of hearings … in the Agriculture Committee on how we can increase competition, again, so that we can lower food prices,” Pelosi rambled, fully aware that her proposition is nothing but nonsense grandstanding.
Congressional Leadership Fund Press Secretary Cally Perkins gives a far more realistic take than Madame Speaker, that’s for sure.
“Inflation is at record highs, gas prices are soaring, shelves are empty, the economy is in shambles, and voters have only House Democrats to blame for it. Instead of spinning up excuses, Democrats should reconsider their woke tax and spend agenda that got us into this mess to begin with,” Perkins remarked flatly.
Democrats, reconsider? That requires a humility well below their comprehension, never mind their actualization.
