Pelosi VS AOC — The Battle For Washington Begins

Looks like Pelosi has caught the ire of “The Squad” … again.

In her latest rampage, AOC has apparently decided to momentarily refrain from launching pitiable catfights with Marjorie Taylor Greene and turn her attention towards her favorite cause of all: free stuff.

After all, those two words, in all likelihood, embody the essence of why someone like AOC could ever be “elected” to office in the first place.

In a recent move that will undoubtedly thrill beleaguered landlords, the eviction moratorium has finally ended after multiple extensions, which means that Americans who appear largely dependent upon the government will actually have to start paying their rent again.

The horror!

Well, it is certainly horror to the likes of AOC anyway, who ironically lives the high life on the taxpayers’ dime, the same taxpayers who are routinely assailed for their “privilege” by AOC and her likeminded lemmings.

Yes, the “privilege” of working and earning one’s way, rather than depending upon the government for life in exchange for nothing, aside from a consistent vote for the Democrats, that is.

Regardless, AOC certainly does not think along these lines in any way, shape, or form whatsoever, which is precisely why she began ranting and raving on the Communist News Network (CNN), clearly a huge “comrade” of AOC’s.

“The House and House leadership had the opportunity to vote to extend the moratorium. And there were many and there was, frankly, a handful of conservative Democrats in the House that threatened to get on planes rather than hold this vote …

And we have to really just call a spade a spade. We cannot in good faith blame the Republican Party when House Democrats have a majority.” [Source: The Daily Wire]

First off, AOC is rather humorous when she brings up lawmakers that threatened to hop on a plane and avoid the issue entirely, given that Democrats themselves are the ones that engaged in such shenanigans, notably when a slew of Democrat Texas lawmakers hopped on a plane to disrupt quorum, over voter integrity, no less.

On top of that, it appears that AOC is turning on the Democrats once again, though it is always humorous to see the left begin to eat its own, as it almost always does.

And, perhaps what is the most hilarious of all is the fact that AOC’s commentary has gone directly against Pelosi’s, revealing Pelosi to be rather out of touch with the realities of the House that she supposedly leads.

“Ensuring every American has a roof overhead is a value that unites the Democratic Party. That’s why I led a relentless campaign to extend the CDC eviction moratorium … In an act of pure cruelty, Republicans blocked this measure — leaving children and families out on the streets …

The CDC has the power to extend the eviction moratorium, As they double down on masks, why wouldn’t they extend the moratorium in light of [the] delta variant?”[Source: The Daily Wire]

In the context of AOC’s ranting on CNN, Pelosi’s commentary above is just too funny.

After all, Pelosi’s “relentless campaign” apparently wasn’t relentless enough, given that a Democrat majority apparently didn’t follow her and the far left’s whims.

Secondly, Pelosi dragging the CDC into the equation is rather disturbing – The CDC is a public health authority, not an arbiter between landlords and tenants, yet Pelosi almost seems to act as if the CDC is at the Democrats’ beck and call …

Oh, wait …

In truth, it seems that a significant percentage of the American population has grown a bit too comfortable doing things the “Democrat way,” starting with an aversion to working coupled with massive demands for all kinds of “free stuff.”

Now, with businesses open and hiring, they are finding themselves in a heck of a bind finding employees, given the Biden administration’s rather generous unemployment benefits, which, needless to say, provide a strong incentive for individuals to eschew showing up to work and remain in their homes instead.

Not exactly the foundation of a “great” America, and times like this make one long more than ever for the economic prosperity associated with Trump …
