Actions have consequences.
And no matter how many times Democrats clamor for “Defund Police” while defending the indefensibly violent, they will eventually learn that brazen deception comes at a cost.
Starting with the King of Misinformation himself, Dr. Fauci.
Aside from his open advocacy of mask mandates (while privately downplaying masks’ usefulness), not to mention brazenly disregarding the science when it failed to suit Democrats’ dictatorial aims, Fauci appears to have demonstrated the greatest deception when it comes to the origins of the virus itself.
As noted by Senator Tom Cotton, various e-mails released illustrate that Fauci has long since been aware of the real origins of COVID, which is why it is quite unfortunate that he elected to spar with Trump rather than tell the truth (a truth which, coincidentally, Trump has been saying all along).
“These emails show that Dr. Fauci coordinated with one of the Wuhan Lab’s funders to cover-up the plausible notion that the virus could have come from inside the lab. Dr. Fauci needs to stop playing games and answer questions about his role in funding the very lab that may have unleashed this pandemic on the world.” [Source: Fox News]
Thus, Fauci’s deception extends well beyond denying the rather obvious fact that the virus (in all reasonable likelihood) came from a Chinese lab.
It also extends to the fact that American taxpayer dollars were used to fund the NIH grant that provided the sadistic lab with the ability to conduct gain-of-function research in the first place, otherwise known as the research that created the COVID monster launched upon the world nearly two years ago.
Fauci, in other words, openly lied to Congress about what NIH funds were really used for which is why he has been repeatedly excoriated by Sen. Rand Paul.
However, Paul has clearly reached a limit with Fauci, notably his recalcitrant dishonesty and total absence of remorse, which is precisely why Paul has taken things to the next level with the nation’s “medical advisor” … in the form of a potential criminal investigation.
“I will be sending a letter to the Department of Justice asking for a criminal referral, because he has lied to Congress …
We have scientists that will line up by the dozens to say that the research he was funding was gain-of-function. He’s doing this because he has a self-interest to cover his tracks and to cover his connection to Wuhan lab. Now, does he deserve all the blame? No, there’s still some conjecture as to whether or not it came from the lab. But he’s lying about whether or not he funded gain-of-function research, and yes, he should be punished.” [Source: The Washington Examiner]
One can only hope that the DoJ actually follows through with Paul’s letter, given that it has rather strong implications for all Americans, regardless of political ideology.
In addition, other representatives have weighed in on Fauci’s deliberate deception, including Marjorie Taylor Greene, who held back exactly zero punches when it comes to the real role played by Fauci.
“How dare he use our tax dollars to create some sort of disgusting evil science that has killed so many people all over the world and fund it with our tax dollars? This man is an enemy to our nation. He’s an enemy to the world because he played a major role in creating a bioweapon, which is COVID-19.” [Source: The Washington Examiner]
Ironically, Greene was recently, albeit temporarily, suspended from Twitter for supposedly sharing “misinformation” regarding COVID, and part of that misinformation included her stance against the idea of mandatory, non-FDA approved vaccines for Americans.
Oh, the irony …
In the spirit of Trump, however, Greene roared back to the platform after her suspension was lifted, calling out Dr. Fauci for exactly who he has been progressively revealed to be.
