On Monday, Democrat Tulsi Gabbard revealed that Kamala Harris’s recent international performance resoundingly demonstrated her ineptitude on the global stage, especially given her absence of acumen with regards to foreign policy.
President Biden opted to remain in the United States instead of Harris, who was subsequently dispatched to Germany in order to meet with the highest-ranked European leaders, all in a bid to prevent war from occurring between Ukraine and Russia.
However, the trip concluded on an unfortunate note, notably when Harris made a number of claims that contradicted with one another.
For instance, Harris declared that Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, had apparently “made his decision” with regards to the Ukraine invasion. However, during the same trip, Harris also declared that the United States would impose an array of devastating economic sanctions that would “absolutely” result in Putin declining to invade Ukraine.
During an appearance on Fox News, Gabbard referred to Harris’s performance as remarkably “embarrassing,” and she also noted that Harris was sent via “purely political calculation” namely to enhance the skimpy foreign policy resume of the Vice President.
“She has no foreign policy background, she has no foreign policy understanding,” Gabbard remarked, “she has no concept of the cost of war, nor does she have the temperament necessary to be the voice of the United States on the global stage.”
Consequently, as several critics have observed, Harris delivered a breathtakingly ignorant performance on the global stage.
“This is embarrassing,” Gabbard remarked in disbelief, “it’s hard to keep track of all of [Harris’s] jumbles of words,” especially since the Vice President boasts all of a “grade-school” level understanding of the art of foreign policy.
“How do you deter someone by punishing them before they do it?” Gabbard continued, adding that Harris was not exactly tasked with “rocket science,” merely basic competence in foreign diplomacy.
As a result of the federal government’s continued ineptitude, a hallmark of the Biden administration, it is highly likely that Americans will be the ones who are “left holding the bag” in terms of the federal government’s ineffective response to the conflict in Russia and Ukraine, which means that Americans will ultimately pay for the global ineptitude on display from the Biden administration.
Harris has long had a tempestuous relationship with Gabbard, especially since Gabbard is widely believed to have possibly influenced Harris’s failed presidential bid in 2020.
Over the course of several Democrat primary debates, Gabbard routinely shellacked the frequently unprepared Harris, amplifying the tension between the Democrats.
