Psaki is at it again, namely in terms of defending her boss’s increasingly indefensible decisions and actions. Needless to say, this indefensibility is magnified by the fact that Biden himself rarely deigns to interact with journalists, never mind the general public.
However, Biden may have to interface with the public at some point, judging from the latest nonsense Psaki is spewing over COVID passports, perhaps one of the more absurd, liberty-invading proposals in recent years.
According to Psaki, the “vaccine passport” will be “driven by the private sector,” although the federal government will also play a strong role, the extent of which was muddled by Psaki’s typically evasive responses.
Just consider her comments below.
“We are going to provide guidance, just as we have through the CDC. There’s currently an interagency process that is looking at many of the questions around vaccine verification, and that issue will touch many agencies as verification is an issue that will potentially touch many sectors of society …
A determination or development of a vaccine passport or whatever you want to call it will be driven by the private sector. Ours will more be focused on guidelines that can be used as a basis.” [Source: Town Hall]
“Guidelines that can be used as a basis.” Right. Given the rather draconian behavior that the Harris-Biden administration has demonstrated as of late, American patriots will take little comfort in whatever “guidelines” the federal government has to offer.
Particularly when the exact same federal government is also ranting and raving about states who dare to reopen their economies and cease mandatory mask mandates. Never mind that those states are “following the science,” certainly in terms of scientific studies on masks’ inefficacy, but these studies are not exactly the ones referred to with any frequency by Fauci.
Yet, in spite of the current federal government’s rather obvious, burning desire to eviscerate as many personal liberties as possible, Psaki is also claiming that the federal government will have “no centralized, universal federal vaccinations database,” which seems to be a rather suspect proclamation from a rather shadowy administration.
“There are a couple of key principles that we are working from. One is that there will be no centralized, universal federal vaccinations database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential. Second, we want to encourage an open marketplace with a variety of private sector companies and non-profit coalitions developing solutions …
And third, we want to drive the market toward meeting public interest goals. So we’ll leverage our resources to ensure that all vaccination credential systems meet key standards, whether that’s universal accessibility, affordability, availability, both digitally and on paper.” [Source: Town Hall]
Right, Psaki. In a nation where the federal government, especially a leftist-led federal government, is well known for using social media giants to hunt down conservatives, patriotic Americans are suddenly supposed to believe that the federal government will have “no” centralized database?
Who does she think she’s talking to, Biden voters? As they’re clearly the only individuals naïve enough to swallow this drivel without questioning it.
Plus, a closer look at Psaki’s statement reveals a sea of generalities cleverly hidden behind three points, points that were undoubtedly chosen to make Psaki appear more transparent and explicit.
Yet all she really does is regurgitate a different variant of what she already said, including the supposed emphasis on “the private sector” (which is clearly under the control of the federal government anyway).
What should be of much greater interest to patriotic Americans is what Dr. Naomi Wolf has to say about vaccine passports. Given that Dr. Wolf is a tech CEO, as well as a former advisor to Clinton, her grave warnings regarding a COVID passport should chill every American to the core.
“I am not overstating this, I can’t say it forcefully enough, this is literally the end of human liberty in the West if this plan unfolds…” [Source: Town Hall]
Strong words, yet spoken with far more conviction that the generalized utterances delivered by Psaki on a too-frequent basis.
From a liberty perspective, seems the wiser money would bet on reality from Dr. Wolf, rather than deliberate fantasy from the Harris-Biden administration …
